Need to increase the number of fields that can be tracked for the object

Currently only 20 fields in the object can be tracked. There are scenario's where more than 20 fields that needs to be tracked in the object. There are audit fields which we could use instead of field tracking but while it comes to reporting we need the field tracking count to be increased.
