Assigning contacts to multiple accounts
Contacts association to multiple account is most wanted idea in the Idea Exchange.
Salesforce has released this feature in Spring 16 as pilot, but now this available for all the edition after the Summer 16 release. So lets take a look onto this.
Lets take a scenario where in a B2B business model your Sales Reps may need to part of multiple accounts. Here the contacts should be associated to multiple accounts.
Follow the below steps to enable this settings:
- From Setup, enter Account Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Account Settings.
- Select Allow users to relate a contact to multiple accounts.
- Add the Related Contacts related list to the account page layouts that your reps use.
