Service Appointment Life Cycle - Field Service Salesforce

 Service Appointment Life Cycle:

If you want the service manager and the technicians to follow a sequence of steps/stages to complete the process, then it can be achieved by setting up the Service Appointment Life Cycle.

For eg: If you don't want the technician directly set the status from Dispatched to Completed, then the status transistion can be configured. 

Login -> Field Service Settings -> Service Appoinment Life Cycle -> Status Transistion - Enable the Service Appointment Status Transistion Checkbox -> Now configured the sequence of the stages/status transistion. 



If you look at the above screenshot, the Service Appointment Status cannot be changed from None to In Progress.
